Just after midnight on June 14, officers made contact with approximately 75 individuals, ranging in ages from 14 to 25, gathering around a large bonfire at "The Pit” (A known local party spot). As a result, there were two DUI arrests, including one DUI refusal, three marijuana-related charges, one tobacco violation, one warrant arrest, 14 curfew violations, and 17 minor in consumption citations.
A Watford City man was arrested for stalking and criminal trespassing after he broke into a woman's apartment and jumped into her bed.
A Tioga man was arrested for assaulting and threatening a juvenile male.
Williams County Sheriff's Office conducted a sex offender compliance check. Out of the 27 compliance checks, 24 offenders were found to be in-compliance and two individuals no longer reside in Williams County. One individual was not in compliance, according to the release from the WCSO.
Williston Care Flight, ran by GFK Flight Support in partnership with the Williston Fire Department, launched earlier this month, restoring the emergency service that the area had lacked for nearly two years.
