The "Road of Shame" Gets Cancelled!?
Bakken Bulletin // Issue #006

Bakken News Roundup
The “Road of Shame”, on the Northern edge of Williston has been “Closed” by local officials. Causing an uproar with the page’s followers. But will the signs stop these off-road amateurs?
There are now 13 confirmed cases of measles in ND, 11 of those coming from Williams County and 2 coming in from Cass County. A mobile medical unit from the Department of Health is coming to Williston to help CHI Alexus with processing people who are experiencing symptoms.
The man arrested at the Fort Union standoff, is allegedly connected to Mr. Cymbaluk resigning from his former position, in the Williston City Commission. He resigned, citing that he and his family were receiving threats.
A 25 year old Williston woman was arrested after cruising in her pickup at a high rate of speed in a road rage incident. The woman was reportedly traveling in a ditch adjacent to a frontage road. She then hit an approach, launching her vehicle across 4 lanes. While impressive to Dukes of Hazzard fans, police thought otherwise. The woman was arrested for Reckless Endangerment and Harassment.
New(ish) “Enhanced Oil Recovery” methods could extend the life of oil extraction in the Bakken. While producers are not yet in the implementation phase. This technique could extend the life of wells and the amount of oil extracted. The method involves injecting Steam, Chemicals and Carbon Dioxide into the wells.
