• The former general manager of a Watford City bar has been arrested and charged with theft after allegedly stealing more than $33,000 from her employer over the past year. 

• Drugs, a stolen gun, and paraphernalia were found inside a home in Williston, during a search on Wednesday. Carried out by the Northwest Narcotics Task Force. The home was in close proximity to Lewis & Clark Elementary.

• Williston Water World is now officially open!

• The Williston Fire Department responded to 76 calls for service, including two structures, over the Fourth of July weekend.

• The Sidney Public School Board approved a contract for the new middle school principal and several new hires during a brief meeting Monday afternoon (July 8).

• Expansion at the Williston Basin International Airport (XWA) will move on, following the acceptance of a bid for the construction of a parking lot expansion project. 

• A Williston man with a history of DUIs was arrested after accruing his fifth such charge since 2011.
